Our recent trip to Oudtshoorn was an absolute dream! One of the places we stayed at was AfriCamps: Klein Karoo.

Africamps is all about boutique camping, otherwise known as “glamping”. Their camps are set up on some of the most beautiful working farms and estates in South Africa.

Currently there’s one in Oudtshoorn and one in Swellendam, with another on the way in Robertson!

Their spacious tents have an open-plan lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There are 2 seperate bedrooms that sleep up to 5 people, with airconditioning and electric blankets, and a shower that looks like a spaceship (and plays music!). The wooden deck is perfect for an outdoor meal, that you can make in your very own braai area, or if you don’t feel like cooking you can pre-order meal baskets for breakfast, lunch (camp dependant) and supper!
