Clouds of Cotton candy

Cotton Candy, Pink Colour, board

It’s our Cotton candy pink colour board today! Sugary sweet and pretty, pink is a colour that reminds me of unicorns and baby girls, the ladies of Grease and Cotton candy at the circus.

A Wiki search of Cotton candy results in this:
Made by heating sugar and spinning the liquefied sugar out through tiny holes where it re-solidifies in minutely thin strands of “sugar glass,” the final cotton candy contains mostly air; with a typical serving weighing approximately 1 ounce or 30 grams.- Wikipedia

Our Cotton candy pink makeup tips:

Using a lip brush really helps you get an even build up of colour and make sure you reach all the ‘tricky places’.

Bright pink lipstick show dry lips so make sure you prep your lips beforehand. Exfoliate them and prep them with a lip balm.

Use a matching lip liner under your pink lipstick.

This season is all about Matte rather than Gloss.

Hot pink lips and minimal makeup go well together. Less is definitely more!

Wearing pink on your eyes doesn’t mean you need to just put a huge pink blob on your eyelid! A light pink is great for a subtle look and if you want to go brighter combine it with a plum or a gold/bronze.

Bright pink lipstick? Lay off the blush. It’ll detract from your lip, which is supposed to be the focal point of your face.

Happy Makeup-ing!
